Determination, dedication, and perseverance. These are words used to describe a former elite gymnast, Courtney Kiehl. No matter what she’s going through, Courtney always has a smile to share. Having overcome several injuries and a bad experience with a gymnastic coach.
Courtney Kiehl was born on February 13, 1990 in Fremont, California. She started gymnastics at the age of three and half years old when she was invited to take a class with a friend. Her friend did not continue in gymnastics, but Courtney did. She began competing at the age of seven, and was Nor Cal Level 6 State Champion in 1999. Courtney was a member of the 1999 and 2000 USA Gymnastics National TOP Team.
